Namaste everyone! I'm Lucky.

I teach Yoga, Chinese (Mandarin), and provide Nutrition Guidance with energy, care, and clarity. These are distinct paths, but they all reflect the same way I work: personally, practically, and with real attention to the person in front of me.

About Me

I'm not trying to force these subjects together. I'm showing up fully for each one.

My background includes a master's degree in sports education, certified and accredited courses in yoga, nutrition, TESL (teaching English as a second Language), and Chinese language teaching. I enjoy working across different disciplines because each one lets me support people in a different way.

In wellbeing, I focus on movement, breath, body awareness, and habits that feel sustainable in real life. In language teaching, I focus on clarity, patience, and communication that students can actually use.

I want every session to feel thoughtful and motivating. I do not believe good teaching has to be cold or rigid. I believe it should be structured, warm, and full of momentum.

Yoga

Yoga for body, breath, and steadiness.

I teach yoga as a complete practice. Of course it includes the physical side, but for me it is also about breath, concentration, steadiness, and focus. Through postures, flows, and mindful movement, yoga helps develop greater body awareness and a deeper connection to yourself. Over time, it can support strength, flexibility, calm, and increased self-awareness both on and off the mat.

What yoga is

Yoga is an ancient practice rooted in India that connects movement, breathing, attention, and inner balance.

What asanas are

Asanas are the postures used in yoga practice. They support flexibility, balance, strength, posture, and awareness.

Why it matters

Yoga can support calm, focus, mobility, resilience, and a healthier relationship with daily stress.

How I teach

I keep yoga welcoming, safe, and grounded, with attention to alignment, progress, and personal confidence.

Chinese Teaching

Mandarin with structure, patience, and cultural depth.

I love teaching Chinese because it opens the door to a rich language, a long history, and a way of seeing the world that is full of nuance, symbolism, and cultural depth. Learning Mandarin is not only about vocabulary or grammar. It is also about understanding meaning, rhythm, expression, and the traditions behind the language. I guide students step by step, so they can enjoy the challenge, build real confidence, and discover the beauty behind what they are learning without feeling overwhelmed by it.

The language itself

Mandarin is tonal, which means changes in pitch can change meaning. That gives it a unique musical quality.

Characters and structure

Chinese characters work differently from alphabet-based writing systems, which makes the language feel distinct and rewarding.

Culture and food

I like to bring in daily life, customs, food, and cultural context so language feels alive instead of abstract. Even traditional arts such as the guzheng, a classical Chinese string instrument, help show the feeling and history behind the language.

My language teaching style

My background in TESL and Chinese teaching helps me keep lessons clear, supportive, and focused on each student's goals. I break the learning process into manageable steps so students can build confidence and use the language in ways that feel practical and meaningful to them.

Traditional food and nutrition image
Nutrition

Nutrition that supports energy, balance, and real life.

I see nutrition as part of the same wider wellbeing picture as movement. It is not about perfection or pressure. It is about understanding what supports your body, your energy, and your day-to-day life.

Why nutrition matters

Food affects mood, energy, concentration, recovery, and the way we move through the day.

What I focus on

I like practical habits: balanced meals, hydration, sustainable choices, and routines that people can maintain.

How it connects

Because I also work in physical education and yoga, I naturally see nutrition as part of a fuller body-and-mind approach.

What it should feel like

Supportive, manageable, and realistic. Good nutrition should help life feel better, not smaller.

How I Work

Personal guidance over generic teaching.

I adapt to the student, not the other way around. That means clear structure, kind feedback, and progress that feels visible.

Clear structure

I break things down into steps that feel manageable, so students know where they are and where they are going.

Kind feedback

I believe people learn better when they feel supported, understood, and challenged in a constructive way.

Visible progress

Whether the goal is language, movement, or lifestyle change, I want growth to feel real, steady, and personal.
